Day 1 – May 2: Departure from Toronto

You will arrive at Marco Polo Airport where you will be met by the Volare team. You will drive west approximately 40 minutes to your hotel in Abano Terme. After settling in and relaxing for a few hours, the group will meet at 6pm for a briefing and introduction to the coming week activities. Tonight, reservations for dinner are made at your hotel for 7pm. Overnight at your hotel in Abano Terme. (D)


Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Abano Terme is the most important and oldest thermal center in Europe, stands in an enchanting location at the feet of the Euganean Hills and is in the center of the Veneto region. Its thermal waters have made it a tourist destination for over 2000 years. Take your time and relax today, you are scheduled for a Mud Application treatment, Body Massage and Ozone Water Treatment. You are encouraged to use the hotel facilities such as the Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, cave with thermal vapors, relaxation room with Himalayan Salts and much more! Tonight, enjoy a traditional northern Italian dinner. Overnight at your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 4 – May 5: VENICE
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. Get ready to spend the day in Venice. Venice radiates a unique old charm with its rippling canals, bridges, colourful glassy arts, and its glorious Venetian history. A 10 am departure is scheduled with a private transfer from the hotel to Tronchetto. From Tronchetto, you’ll arrive by boat transfer to the Venice City Centre and reach St. Mark’s square where you will have free time to roam the area and the many shops. Enjoy a traditional Venetian lunch where the gondolier’s eat. After lunch, you will have an escorted guided tour of Murano, Burano & Torcello; the most famous islands in the Venetian Lagoon. In Murano you will visit a glass blowing factory and explore a lace workshop in Burano. Explore Venice on your own. Spend some time outside the main tourist attractions. 10:00pm return to your hotel. Café Florian is the oldest café in Venice – it’s the perfect place to sit and enjoy a spritz while enjoying the scenery in St. Mark’s Square.

Day 5 – May 6: PADOVA
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, prepare for an 8:00am departure from your hotel to Padova to visit the famous Basilica of Saint Anthony and the Scrovegni Chapel, gleaming with is famous frescoes painted by world renowned artist, Giotto. Next, a walking tour with your private guide of Padova. Padova is one of the oldest and most dynamic Italian cities and was founded more than 3,000 years ago along a curve of the River Brenta. Today it is modern and cosmopolitan, and rather well-known for its historic and glorious University and for innumerable art masterpieces diffused throughout the city. Recharge for a light “millefoglie” snack at a famous Bakery. Dinner at a local restaurant in Abano Terme. (B, L, D)

Day 6 – May 7: VERONA
Good Morning, enjoy buffet breakfast at your hotel and then set out to a guided tour of Verona. There’s no denying Verona is an exceptionally stunning city built between the bend of the Adige River in Northern Italy, this place is a cultural haven. You will also visit the iconic balcony of Juliet visited by thousands of hopeless romantics. Lunch at a local restaurant. After Lunch, enjoy Verona on your own as it’s a nice place to do shopping. Don’t forget to recharge with an espresso or Aperol Spritz at one of the many café’s. Overnight in your hotel. (B, L, D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today you will set out to discover Asolo and Bassano Del Grappa. Asolo known as “The Pearl of the province of Treviso”, and also as “The City of a Hundred Horizons” for its mountain settings. Lunch at a local restaurant in Asolo. After lunch, you will head to Bassano Del Grappa. The tour will begin with a visit to a local but very famous “Grapperia” followed by a guided tour of Bassano. Dinner at a local restaurant in Bassano. Overnight in your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 8 – May 9: LAKE GARDA
Breakfast at your hotel. Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy, shadowed by the Dolomite Mountains. It is adorned by towns such as Sirmione, Peschiera & Bardolino. Today, you will go on a guided tour to visit the stunning Scagliere Castle. Lunch at a typical restaurant in Sirmione. After Lunch, you’ll hop on a boat ride for a one hour tour in Sirmione and visit le Grotte di Catullo, Villa di Maria Callas and the Sorgenti Termali. Dinner at a local restaurant in Bardolino.
